About Us

Mundomar is a leisure park, environmental protection organisation commited to promote the respect for animals and nature as well as conservation and reproduction of species. Located next to the water park Aqualandia (in Benidorm), has an area of 60,000 square meters and a topography that contributes to a unique park, endowed with lush vegetation and tropical landscaping, rustic looking buildings, rocky outcrop, large waterfalls, and surprising caves…

Mundomar started in 1996...

In 1985 the first water park to be built in Spain, AQUALANDIA, was opened in Benidorm. Since then, it has become not only one of the largest water parks in the world, but one of the best endowed with attractions, services and customer support.

With these precedents, and next to the Water Park facilities MUNDOMAR was built in 1996. Mundomar is a park of exotic marine animals which contributes to promote the respect for nature and environment, deploying a symbiosis of entertainment and culture.

In April 2004, the AQUALANDIA MUNDOMAR FOUNDATION was born. The Foundation develops different activities, highlighting among them the development of dolphin programs for children around the world with physical or mental dysfunctions. These programs are completely free to their families.

Mundomar, your animal park, is located next to the water park Aqualandia and has an area of 60,000 square meters and a topography that contributes to a unique park in relation to other parks. Lush vegetation and tropical landscaping, rustic looking buildings, rocky outcrop, large waterfalls, amazing caves ... are the architectural elements found in the park.

We have different shows with parrots, sea lions and dolphins as well as various activities such as feeding lions, lemurs and penguins. The underwater vision of sea lions and dolphins gets visitors to enjoy the interesting exhibits and learn interesting facts about our animals.

A wide variety of animals can be seen in the park, such are flamingos, turtles and swans, storks, sea lions, seals, otters, several species of lemurs, capuchins, squirrel monkeys, tropical birds like toucans, ibises, Aratinga macaws, etc.

In addition Mundomar offers various hotel services and ammenities, such as snack bar, self service, a la carte restaurant, kiosks, shops, photos, baby cart rental, etc..
